The Kingdom of God is like a piece of rotten fruit. It was cast down into the dirt, where it was stepped upon and trampled. And animals came by and defecated on it. And the whole field where it was cast down was so strewn with garbage and manure that it was abandoned. But the fruit used the rot, the dirt, the manure, and the empty space and grew into a great tree, which yielded ripe fruit. Soon the field became a great orchard, and the birds came to roost in its branches, and the people to eat of its fruit.
